Aaron Rodgers revealed in an interview Monday that, despite previous drama, he’d spent his birthday weekend with his family.

According to Fox News, this comes not long after the Green Bay quarterback’s brother and “Bachelorette” star, Jordan Rodgers, called him out.

As Dearly reported, Jordan called his brother out on Twitter for not contacting their parents, who were victims of the California wildfires, but donating to other victims.

He commented:

PLEASE DONATE, SPREAD AWARENESS & SEND LOVE. But when your own Mom is home alone during the fires, car packed ready to evacuate, & you miss the fundamental first step of compassion; calling your parents to make sure they are safe…. Everything else just feels like an act.

As Fox News reports, the athlete’s ex, Olivia Munn, said the reconciliation between the family was “long overdue.” She felt both Rodgers and his family shared blame for the drama.

She said:

“I do believe that family and fame and success can be really complicated if their dreams are connected to your success… And Aaron is one of the best — if not the best — quarterback to ever play the game, so their work has a direct connection to what he does and that’s … at the end of the day there is a lot of complications … I don’t think either side of the road is clean, but I do think it’s not OK when you try to stand on someone’s shoulders and then throw dirt in their face, which is what I think they did with him.”

Rodgers and Munn broke up in 2017 after three years of dating, but she pointed out that prior to their relationship, Rodgers hadn’t spoken to his parents in nearly eight months.

As Fox News reports, Rodgers is currently dating former race car driver Danica Patrick. The two reportedly started dating in 2017.
