Darci Lynne Farmer started her “America’s Got Talent” journey as a 12-year-old girl from Oklahoma who dreamed of making ventriloquism cool again.
Not only did she blow judge Mel B away the first time she stepped on stage — which earned her a Golden Buzzer:
But she continued to remain an “America’s Got Talent” front-runner week in and week out. She wrote in a note to herself:
My wish for you is to stay true to yourself and only change for the better. However, always seek God in all that you do. You will have the time of your life and always remember to preform so you can make people happy.
After her final performance on September 19, each judge predicted that Farmer would be going home a million dollars richer … and they were right.
