On June 12, Farrah Abraham and her nine-year-old daughter, Sophia, were relaxing by the pool during their stay at The Beverly Hills Hotel.
A quick look at Abraham's Instagram story showed the mother-daughter pair swimming and enjoying pool-side service.
Now, Cosmopolitan is reporting that in the early morning hours of June 13, Abraham was arrested after allegedly hitting one of the hotel's staff members.
According to TMZ, police said the 27-year-old mom first got into a “verbal altercation” with some guests. Abraham allegedly got physical with the male security guard after he had asked her to leave and she refused.
Police also told TMZ that Abraham “hit [the guard] in the face with her forearm, grabbed his ear and pushed his head as he tried preventing her from reentering the hotel.”
Police said it is believed that alcohol was reportedly involved because the mom “displayed signs of intoxication during their investigation.”
It is also unclear if Sophia was with her mom at the time of the alleged physical altercation, or where she was that late at night.
As Cosmopolitan reports, once police arrived to the scene, Abraham could be heard screaming, “You should know who I am.” The Beverly Hills Police eventually arrested the former “Teen Mom” star.
She was booked at 1:43 a.m. and is currently being held on a $500 bond. Authorities charged Abraham with battery and trespassing.
The guard did suffer minor injuries as a result of the altercation. However, he did not have to go to the hospital.
The incident comes shortly after Abraham landed in hot water for “flashing” the camera while her daughter performed a dance on the app known as Music.ly.
Many of her daughter's followers were calling Abraham a “sorry mother.” Abraham has yet to publicly comment on her arrest.
