Fans love Pink because the singer is always one to speak her mind.

She told People she's always been one to speak up since she was little:

“My dad’s nickname when I was a kid was ‘Mr. Cause.’

He would fight any injustice that he could find. If someone was being picked on, if some business wasn’t treating its employees correctly, laws that weren’t fair. I was marching on Washington by the time I was three years old with my dad.”

Recently, the 38-year-old took time to defend her career and beauty against an internet troll who criticized her appearance during a recent performance.

The commenter wrote on Twitter:

Wow Pink looks so old that should be named Purple instead.

Pink responded back:

You must be from L.A.

Well, there are a few people left in the world that choose to age naturally. And I’ve earned every f**cking minute of my 38 years. How you lookin’ though? ‘Cause I never heard of ya ’til you put my name in your mouth. I shall call you little purple troll.”

She added:

I am of the mindset that it’s a blessing to grow old — that if your face has lines around your eyes and mouth it means you’ve laughed a lot.

Before writing: “I pray I look older in 10 years, ’cause that will mean I’m alive.”

Fans were quick to defend the mother of two, who has been performing since she was about 14 years old:

The feisty pop star told People back in April that she doesn't take well to bullying. She explained:

“Constructive criticism is one thing, and I take that all day long.

But there needs to be some accountability to all this anonymous keyboard warrioring. Certain things push my button. You would never say that to my face. Please, come do it. Let’s talk about it, let’s see who you are.”

As Dearly previously reported, despite her critics Pink made People's “Most Beautiful” cover earlier this year. On “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” the singer told Ellen DeGeneres that she “laughed out loud” when she found out about the news.
